Atlatl Rock Campground Site #1 Overview
Campsite #1 at Atlatl Rock Campground is the first campsite as you enter the Atlatl Rock Campground area.
You will find the self-pay station across the street near the bathroom and shower building.
There is a numbered sign is at the edge of the parking area on the right for you to add your payment stub.
The parking area is long so if you have two cars they will have to be parked one behind the other.
The tent pad is mostly red sand with a gravel mix.
The backside of the campsite is a tall red rock formation.
The elevation of the campsite is approximately 2,258′.

Once you enter the Atlatl Rock Campground, it is the first campsite on the right.
Coordinates are 36°25’06’ N – 114°33’17’ W.
Atlatl Rock Campground Site #1 Amenities
Site #1 at Atlatl Rock Campground offers campers a tent pad for up to two (2) tents, parking for up to two (2) cars, shaded area for picnic table, fire ring, and water spigot.
The water spigot is located a good distance from the picnic table, which is good because bees are a problem at the Valley of Fire and they tend to hang at the puddles that are formed at the water spigots.
Campsite #1 is located across the road from the showers and flush toilets.
