Excalibur Hotel & Casino

las vegas excalibur swimming pool

This is a castle-themed Vegas resort has three kid-friendly swimming pools with two water slides. It has a slide pool that has a rock formation on one side of the pool with water slides and waterfalls.

There is a pool that is good for lying and enjoying the sun or for the non-swimming kids to play in it. The pool is open from 9 am to 5 pm. It has a huge Fun Dungeon arcade, and its accommodation is in the medieval style castle.

There are multiple pools and a lot of lounge chairs at the 30,000 square foot Excalibur pool area. The most exciting and family-friendly of these pools is the Slide Pool which has a cool “rock” formation along one side of the pool that includes a very fun waterslide as well as waterfalls flowing from the rocks onto the edges of the pool.

Another pool has a very shallow area which is good for laying out in the sun while in the water or having your non-swimming kids playing in the water.

Mandalay Bay Beach

Mandalay Bay Beach

One of the more popular family-friendly swimming pools in Las Vegas is the Mandalay Bay Beach.

This sandy beach offers three fabulous Vegas hotel pools, a quarter-mile lazy river, and a huge wave pool with six feet high waves.

The Mandalay Bay Beach waters are shallow, so children can enjoy playing in the water or they can float in the lazy river.

During the winter months, you will be able to enjoy the Moorea Beach Club with toasty S’mores on a fire pit! Their scrumptious S’mores Packages have everything you need to roast the perfect fireside treats. Enjoy an ooey-gooey good time today!

Also, don’t miss more family fun by visiting the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay with over 2,000 sea creatures where the children can take part in feeding them.

Park MGM (previously Monte Carlo Resort & Casino)

park mgm poolPreviously on the Best Family Pool in Las Vegas list when it was the Monte Carlo Resort & Casino.

At this time I do not have enough information now that it has been rebranded to the Park MGM to recommend it as a family-friendly pool.

I will update the article as soon as I visit the property and learn more to share.

The MGM Grand Hotel & Casino

MGM swimming poolThis is a 0.5-acre complex area that has four pools, a lazy river, a waterfall, and three whirlpool spas.

The river which is called the Backlot River is a quarter a mile where the kids can float on it using tubes that are for rent and is connected to a clover-shaped pool that has waterfalls.

The pools open from 9 am to 6 pm each day. If not in the pool, children above 5 years can enjoy magic shows from David Copperfield or Cirque de Soleil.

They have a G-rated pool that one has to pay $10 as an entry fee.

The Mirage Hotel & Casino

mirage poolThe Mirage Pool is lined with palm trees and green foliage to compliment the crystal clear blue waters.

The Mirage Pool is ideal for kids since the pool is not that deep. Another kid-friendly bonus is that The Mirage Pool offers complimentary life jackets for children upon request.

The Tank at the Golden Nugget

This swimming pool has an aquarium centered pool, and one gets an up-close look at sharks. One also gets to swim with the sharks as the tank has a three-story slide that passes through the shielded tank with live sharks.

The hotel also has lots of video games, air hockey, and classic pinball and also has 15 private cabanas for rent and lounge chairs above the pool tank. The pool is heated and opens all year round.

The opening hours are 9 am to 7 pm from Sunday to Thursday and for Friday and Saturday, it opens from 9 am to -9 pm. There is a shark tour, which happens on Wednesday only and it costs $49 only.

It is best for you to call before making any booking as most as Vegas pools close during winter and reopen in February due to the “cold weather.”

Wet ‘n Wild

Well, of course, another Las Vegas water park would make the cut because like Cowabunga, everything about this water park is family-friendly.

For a full day of wet family fun, consider the Wet ‘n Wild water park located in the Southwest area of Las Vegas. Click here to read more about Wet ‘n Wild Las Vegas.
