There are not too many dining options when visiting the Panguitch Lake area in Utah and our go-to place for a somewhat quick lunch is the Burger Barn at Panguitch Lake Utah.
They have expanded their menu and now serve amazing dishes for dinner such as my favorite, the cowboy cut smoked prime rib… it is an absolute must-try!
Burger Barn at Panguitch Lake Utah
They have the normal burger and hot dog type menu but if you are at the Burger Barn after 4:00 PM, they have other menu options such as a prime rib, brisket, and racks of ribs.
Warning, if you do want to order the dinner options you need to order and pay ahead of time or get there early as some items sell out fast.
Also, not all menu items are prepared each day so you may want to call ahead to find out what is on the smoker for the day.
This is now my go-to dish for when I am in Panguitch Lake. I get the cowboy cut and it is hands down one of the best smoked prime rib dinners I have ever had. You will not be disappointed.

Oh, bonus… they have free Wi-Fi. Sometimes it can be slow but when out in the middle of nowhere you are able to connect to the world.
There are benches to sit and wait for your order, picnic tables, and a tent with picnic tables.
Most of the time we are there we use the tent as it was raining.
Also, they have heaters inside the tent for those chilly days.
One day… one day I will try their ribs.
When in Utah… FRY SAUCE!
Burgers, burgers, and more burgers. The Mountain Burger is a popular choice, which has BBQ sauce, 2 cheese, onion rings, and bacon.
Options available other than burgers.
Dessert options. I have only had the ice cream and milkshake. The milkshake was so-so and I am not a fan of their chocolate soft serve ice cream, so all vanilla next time for me.
