Cascade Falls Utah
Cascade Falls Utah Overview
Cascade Falls is an easy 1.2 mile out and back hike located near Alton, Utah with scenic views of the National Forest and Zion National Park.
The waterfall is small and in the summer there is normally not a lot of water pouring.
There’s not a lot of difficulty in hiking Cascade Falls, but most of the trail is along a vertical escarpment, so some caution is needed especially with small children.
Along the trail, you will find a few benches on the way to sit and rest, take pictures, or have a snack.
We were there after a BIG rain and the trail was slightly “damaged” and careful footing was needed to ensure not to slip.

Cascade Falls Utah
I am an outdoor enthusiast who would rather be on a backcountry backpacking trip than a stroll on the beach (although I do love the beach!).
Living in Las Vegas has afforded me the opportunity to easily explore the Southwest region of the United States.
A nature lover, I am often found at the end of the pack taking photos and videos of the wildlife found on the trails. Colorful flowers, desert animals, and unusual geological rock formations are often the majority of my photos.
