Coryville Nevada History
The town of Coryville was laid out and a post office was established in 1883 after the discovery of silver on the eastern side of Mount Grant, and soon, several houses were constructed.
After an extensive operation to find permanent veins turned out to be fruitless, the mining camp was closed by the end of the decade.
