DIRECTIONS: from the intersection of Charleston and 215 drive West Charleston 3.9 miles and turn right into Calico Basin Rd., drive 1.1 miles and turn right onto Calico Rd., Drive 0.1 miles and turn left onto Assisi Canyon, drive 0.1 mile and turn right onto Sandstone and drive 0.6 mile and turn onto the gravel road, which is the trailhead (Kraft)

Ash Canyon is one of the most easy scrambles we have here at red rock, calico basin side. We won’t be climbing to any peaks, but instead we will scramble rocks all the way to the wash at Kraft. This is the perfect start for beginners and fun for all. There some parts with elevation but you always have the choice to do the fun way or the safe way. Besides, we always help you to succeed and complete your hike with no trouble.

NOTE: You must be in shape to do our beginning scrambles.

Our hikes involve Scrambling boulders and tall rocks. We don’t just do trail hikes. Must not be afraid of heights and be able to pull entire body to climb big rocks.

Bring 1.5 – 2 liter water plus electrolytes. Snacks by choice, a sandwich helps a lot, and a good sense of humor a plus. wear hiking shoes. Yes, you may wear your 5 10s

If bringing a guest, please make sure your guest is in good shape to hike for over 3 hours.

NOTE: Because we are not living on “Normal time” Each of you must know how to care for him/herself when it comes to your health. Please take any necessary precautious you believe you need to keep your health and others health at 100%. Remember that you need to breath when hiking or doing any other exercise.

DISTANCE: about 4 miles
DURATION: 3 – 4 hours up and back NO CHILDREN TEENAGE OK
