Beginner’s Rappel Class
June 30 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm UTC-7
Please note, our articles may contain referral or affiliate links.
If you have never rappelled or just learning, this class is for you. We will cover the basics of rappelling and you will do a few rappels.
You must be a 52er to attend.
We are parking at The Elbow: Directions: https://www.hikinglasvegas.com/park.html
Meet us at the parking spot – do NOT hike to the rappel area.
Donations are appreciated – Ropes are expensive
All go on the waiting list. I am keeping the Going List small so everyone gets to rappel at least twice.
We will be finished by 8:30 pm. Please by on time.
Bring sticky gloves!!! this is important.
If you have a harness, device and locking carabiner bring it, but we will have extra for the class.
I am an outdoor enthusiast who would rather be on a backcountry backpacking trip than a stroll on the beach (although I do love the beach!).
Living in Las Vegas has afforded me the opportunity to easily explore the Southwest region of the United States.
A nature lover, I am often found at the end of the pack taking photos and videos of the wildlife found on the trails. Colorful flowers, desert animals, and unusual geological rock formations are often the majority of my photos.
