Please read the whole hike description. New participants will be required to sign a Waiver similar to the Disclaimer below.

52 Peak Club members needing a specific Red Rock card(s) are encouraged to text me with the peak name and your availability and we’ll work out a date to post the hike for you. This hike was requested by Rick and Ginny.

This starts with a level hike across the desert before tackling some steep class 2 and class 3 terrain plus a few class 3+ obstacles to a seldom visited peak with views of Spring Mountain Ranch, Bonnie Springs and Mt Wilson. There is lots of loose rock on the route but very little exposure and some fun scrambling and climbing.

Trailhead: First Creek
Distance: 6 miles (will seem like a lot more)
Elevation Gain: 2,600 feet
Elevation of Peak: 5,660 feet
Class: 2, 3, 3+
Exposure: minimal
Difficulty: 3, very strenuous
Duration: 6.5 hours
Pace: moderate
Gear: approach shoes – yes; trekking poles – yes; gloves – yes

All start on the Waitlist. The reason I became an Organizer is to help people get their cards so priority will only be given to 52ers who need the card. If you wish to join and become a 52er the day of the hike, please text me at 702-515-9824 several days in advance. If you already have the card, you may be left on the Wait list due to group size limits.

52 Peak Club Information:
If you are a current 52er, the cost of the card is $5. If you want to join the 52 Peak Club, the cost will be $60 to join and $19.97 per month or $5 per card; your choice. Cards will be distributed at the peak. You do NOT have to be a 52er to sign up for this hike but due to group size limits you may be left on the Wait list if you’re not.

Please be respectful of others and be on time or you will be left behind.
You absolutely need to know your pace and ability levels.
Always stay with the group and follow the leader.
Getting everyone through the hike safely is my number one priority.

We’ll meet at the First Creek pull-off alongside Hwy 159 (aka Charleston Blvd or Red Rock Canyon Rd or Blue Diamond Hwy).

If you have any questions; text me at 702-515-9824, send a meetup message or post a comment.
