White Rock Grand Circle loop is a well marked 6.4 mile hiking trail encircling the circumference of White Rock Mountain with 1,135 ft. of elevation gain. The main challenges are the first 1.8 miles of elevation gain, and again the last 1.3 miles of elevation gain return. The rest is just pure joy hiking down the trail through the area in the photo. Average pace 26 minute mile total time 3 hours + an hour for breaks and photo ops along the route.
We’ll meet at the Keystone Thrust trailhead. Weather Sunday 24th is projected clear and sunny, w/ a breeze.
October 1, Red Rock Canyon began the timed entry pass permit requirement. If you have an annual pass, you will still need to go online and book your timed entry. It was a $2 fee for me plus the annual pass card. At the time of this post, there were still 103 passes available for 12-1p.m. timed entry.
