Hiking Diary

Below is my hiking diary since I started recording my hikes to share the information with other outdoor enthusiasts. In addition to hikes, I have added “points of interest” that may be of “interest” to you.

Here is a master list of the hiking in and near Las Vegas and other areas I have been fortunate enough to visit and experience.

If you have any questions about a specific trail, drop a comment below or email me.

Mt. Charleston Hiking

Do you notice that the months hiked are “summer months?” When Las Vegas heats up, some hikers head to the mountains to cool off and for a change of scenery. During the winter not all trails are open or accessible due to heavy snow and ice.

If you are out on a trail, be sure to pack a snack or lunch to enjoy the amazing scenery. Click here to view my article on Mt. Charleston Picnic Areas.
