Simon in a blend of Moderne and Starved Classical styles, it represents the architectural evolution of early 20th-century federal buildings.

  • December 7, 1941: The post office opens for business, coinciding with the attack on Pearl Harbor.
  • February 28, 1990: Added to the National Register of Historic Places.
