With Summer being delayed by the weird weather in May, it’s only a matter of time until that Vegas heat hits upwards of 115 degrees causing everyone to run inside or to a pool.

For those looking for a max level thrill, Canyon Cliffs or the Tornado might be for you. Canyon Cliffs is a ride that will leave your heart pounding as you slide down a near vertical slide over 60 feet in the air and reaching speeds of up to 22 miles per hour as stated on their website. The Tornado seems like their main attraction and rightfully so with it being nearly four stories of sliding action.
The Tornado sends riders down a 110-foot tunnel before shooting them into a 45-foot wide funnel where they will then shoot from side to side until they reach the end. In my past experiences with the Tornado, it’s best to try and get the most weight possible on the raft for maximum speed so that you can shoot out of the tunnel like a bullet and nearly tip the raft over from going up high enough on the sides. Do note that because these two are rated for max thrill, Children under 48 inches, or 4 feet, cannot ride the rides.
Wet’ Wild Las Vegas is located on 7055 S Fort Apache Rd right off the 215 Beltway. Wet’n Wild is also opened 7 days a week during the summer from 10:30 am to 8 pm Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 am to 10 pm on Friday and Saturday.
